A “mateada” is casually defined as a meeting up of people to drink yerba mate together. It is at the core of many yerba mate cultures. No structure, just a chance to hang out and maybe make some new friends. BYOY (Bring Your Own Yerba) however there will be some extra yerba, mates, and bombillas for anyone new to yerba mate that want to give it a try.
